29 May 2009 - Eat Smart! Toolkits - School and Workplace
Eat Smart online toolkits for the School and Workplace Program are now available on the 'Information for Health Unit' side of the Eat Smart! websites. These toolkits replace the old Eat Smart! manuals. The online format of these new toolkits make them more interactive. Health units are able to download the supplementary materials directly to their computers in workable documents.

Congratulations to Sophia Yang, a grade 8 student at Cummer Valley Middle School in Toronto. Sophia is the winner of Toronto Public Health's 2008 Eat Smart! School Cafeteria Program Poster Contest. Sophia's poster promotes the key phrase, "Eat Smart! Feel Better. The Choice is Yours." in a colourful, appealing and original manner against a backdrop of the rainbow design used in Canada's Food Guide.

should know about this great program. We're offering a free, live Audio
Web Cast that will be one hour in length. At the end you will be given a
chance to participate in an online, live, question and answer period,
where you'll get a chance to discuss the outcomes of the web cast or ask
your own questions
